In 2010, officials at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona voted to replace its most famous building on campus, the Antoine Predock’s Classroom Laboratory Administration (CLA) Building, citing seismic and structural deficiencies.

Although the fate of the CLA Building still hangs in the balance, the University has now unveiled its successor; a new spaceship-esque, three-story structure that will be located less than 100 feet away.

At approximately 138,400 square feet, it will house the office of the president, division of university advancement, and divisions of academic, student and administrative affairs.

The estimated date for completion is sometime during 2018.
